Interfaith Advocacy Day, February 14
As an Advocating Congregation, Bethany will participate in Interfaith Advocacy Day in Olympia on Tuesday, February 14. Sign up at church if you would like to ride along with Pastor Paul in the van he has rented for the occasion AND register with the Faith Action Network (register online or call (206) 625-9790). Registration is $20 through January 31, $25 after that, and includes lunch. We will leave Bethany no later than 7 a.m. and will return by 5 p.m.
Pastor Paul has also been invited to offer the opening prayer for the state legislature that day. This is a great opportunity to be updated on current legislative issues, to hear from faith leaders on current topics, and meet our elected representatives and their staffs.

Women and Men in Retreat: Sign Up Now
Women's Retreat: Sign-ups Close Feb. 12
The 2012 Women's Retreat is scheduled for March 9-11 at the Seabeck Conference Center. Our theme is taken from Jane Austen: Pridefulness and Prejudices. Come for fellowship, worship, laughter, reflection, and relaxation.
Cost is $140, including all meals and accomodation (double rooms with private bath) from Friday dinner Friday through Sunday breakfast. Or come just for Saturday for $50, including lunch and dinner. Space is still available. Please sign up at church by February 12, checks payable to Bethany.
Men's Retreat: Sign-ups Now Open
The 2012 Men's Retreat will take place April 27-29 at Brunner's Lodge near Lake Wenatchee. Cost is only $110. You'll have to help with the cooking, but that's all part of the experience. We promise good food and a good time in fellowship with our Christian brothers. Sign up in the narthex.
