| What an extraordinary weekend. I also
had a wonderful day with the men on Saturday. (Thanks to
co-conspirators Sid Ball, Doug Olson & Mark Byl.)
Although it was difficult to say goodbye, Sunday is a day that will
live long in my memory. Your many cards, kind notes, and gifts are
truly appreciated. Good music, good humor and the generous
congregation gift are reminders of what has made Bethany such a special
place these last 16 years. The program was an expression of
your warmth and kindness that has been a blessing to so many people
during the years I have been with you. As I said goodbye as
your pastor, I am comforted in the thought that we are all a part of
God's family and that we remain brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastor Marty
