Education for All
Education is a life-long process, and Bethany offers opportunities for education in the Christian faith for
all ages.
Bible and Book Studies
Several groups include regular Bible study with their programs, including Altar Guild, Rachel Circle, and the Bethany Men Visitors. In addition, the Women's Home Bible Study group meets monthly for more in-depth study, and a group of men meet for Study around the Tackle Box. Watch the calendar for meetings of these groups.
Bethany also hosts study groups on various contemporary writings.
Adult Forum
Adult Forum presents various contemporary topics in a Christian context for discussion and study on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School
We welcome all students preschool through sixth grade to our Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday morning during the school year. The Spark Sunday School curriculum we use offers students many different ways to experience the Gospel: hearing, seeing, and feeling. Preschool through second-grade classes study the most commonly told Bible stories. Third- through sixth-grade classes study the same scripture lessons used in Sunday worship each week.
One Sunday a month, our fifth- and sixth-grade students assist at the 9:30 a.m. worship service.
Vacation Bible School
Bethany offers Vacation Bible School each summer for students entering kindergarten through fifth grade. For pictures from VBS 2010, see the picture gallery in the Publications section of this web site.
Confirmation Classes
Confirmation classes are held for 7th and 8th graders and are integrated with other programs for youth. Read more about confirmation at Bethany on the Confirmation page in the Youth section of this web site.
