Education for All
Education is a life-long process, and Bethany offers opportunities for education in the Christian faith for
all ages.
Bible Studies
The women's home Bible study group meets the second Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at a member's home. A men's Bible study group meets around breakfast the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 a.m., concluding in time to make the 7:55 ferry to Seattle.
Several groups also include regular Bible study with their programs, including Altar Guild, Rachel Circle, and the Bethany Men Visitors. Watch the calendar for meetings of these groups.

Sunday School
We welcome all students preschool through sixth grade to our Sunday school, which is integrated with the 10 a.m. worship service each Sunday morning during the school year. Children's sermons during worship including teaching moments for both children and their parents. In the classroom our curriculum focuses on Jesus's parables, tying into the weekly scripture readings. Once a month children will have a large group lesson or activity, as well as return to the worship service to receive communion or a blessing.
Confirmation Classes
Confirmation classes are held for 7th and 8th graders and are integrated with other programs for youth. Read more about confirmation at Bethany on the Confirmation page in the Youth section of this web site.
