Confirmation: Grades 7-8

On Wednesday evenings, we gather our 7th and 8th grade youth! Confirmation is not just an extension of Sunday School. It is a time in a person's faith life to "confirm" whether they can really say that they believe the things they've been taught. It is a time to ask questions about things you have trouble believing or things that you just don't understand. We welcome 7th and 8th graders to join us at 6 p.m. for dinner and fellowship and then small group discussions and learning.

During the year, we also have opportunity for retreats, service projects, and participating in the life of the congregation. The Confirmation journey is not just about learning. It is also a chance to build community in faith and fellowship. The finale each year is a Confirmation retreat at Lutherwood, certainly something to look forward to in the summer.
